Chelcey Salinger IAT is a consultant trichologist at the Australian Trichology Centre, Sydney and Adelaide, where she specialises in hair loss and scalp problems in women and men. She has lectured at Trichology Conferences in Brazil and Canada. Magazines and media regularly seek Chelcey's professional opinion and insights on hair and hair loss. Chelcey regularly educates hairdressers and aspiring trichologists, running a classroom-facilitated IAT Hair Practitioner's Certificate Course.

Romy Paltoglou is a Sound Massage Practitioner and Sound Bath Facilitator trained by the Peter Hess Institute. Romy creates immersive sound experiences with frequencies related to nature and the human body to soothe and calm the nervous system. Her sound work intends to give you the time and space to be still and silent, allowing your brain waves to slow down and your parasympathetic nervous system to activate.

Passionate about empowering and educating others to integrate beauty and wellness into their lives, Sita brings her passion to life in her role as Education Director for Aveda Asia Pacific. Inspired by Aveda’s heritage and its mission of Care upon joining in 2014, she became a certified Yoga and Ayurveda lifestyle counsellor with the goal of educating with authenticity. Sita regularly hosts Ayurveda workshops and consultations in Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and for Wanderlust Sunshine Coast.

Meet your Day Two guest artists

Born in Japan, Masa Honda started his career in Paris and then moved to London to work as a session hairstylist. He also lived in New York, working at numerous fashion shows and shoots with well-known designers across the world for 12 years. Masa became an Aveda salon owner in 2011 when he opened 'Honda Aveda Hair & Spa' in Kanagawa, Japan.


Masa now owns two Aveda Concept Salons and manages four Honda Premier Hair Salons, which have been in his family for over 60 years.


Aveda Australia is excited to partner with Masa, who will feature an innovative collection of looks that inspire and motivate both artists and guests by showcasing powerful artistry with Aveda hair colour.

Bernadette Beswick is an award-winning education titan whose exhilarating classes have catapulted her to the top of Australian hairdressing education.


Bernadette was awarded AHIA Victorian Hairdresser of the Year in 2022 and 2023 and has 38 years of hairdressing experience. She’s renowned industry-wide for her skills in precision cutting, both classic and creative cutting techniques. A talented salon ‘all-rounder’, Bernadette diligently works to develop the next generation of salon professionals across consultation, retailing, sales, freehand techniques, precision cutting and styling.
